What is TurboClip?
TurboClip is an AI-powered content creation platform that turns a simple text description into professional videos and image slideshows — ready to publish on any social platform.
Our multi-stage AI pipeline handles scriptwriting, narration, visual generation, captioning, and assembly. Is there an API I can build on?
Yes. TurboClip ships a public REST API so builders and automated workflows can generate content programmatically — the same credit-metered pipeline the app runs on, with credits reserved up front and automatically refunded on failure.
Create and revoke keys from your dashboard (each key is shown once, then masked). The API and the MCP server for AI agents are both available on the Creator plan and up.
Can I make long-form videos — 10 minutes or longer?
Yes. Long-form is a core use case — from quick clips right up to full 10-minute videos, narrated and captioned end to end. For anything this long, we strongly recommend building it as image-based video: scenes rendered from AI image models rather than AI video models.
The reason is cost. Image-based scenes are far cheaper per minute, so a 10-minute piece stays economical — whereas AI video-generation models are priced for short, motion-heavy clips (ads, hero shots) and get expensive fast at that length. Image-based long-form is ideal for faceless YouTube channels, educational explainers and tutorials, documentaries and deep-dives, listicles and top-10s, and story-time or narration videos — all exported as 1080p with baked-in captions.
Can I manage multiple brands or clients?
Yes — spin up a team for each brand and keep its projects, automations, connected TikTok account, and credits fully separated. Switch between them without logging in again, and even run different brands in separate browser tabs at once, with no risk of posting to the wrong account.

How do credits work and what exactly am I paying for?
TurboClip uses a simple, transparent credit system. Every AI action — scripting, narration, image creation, video animation — has a fixed credit cost displayed before you click generate. No surprises, no hidden fees.
Everything else is completely free: video rendering, 1080p exports, timeline editing, adding overlays, saving projects, and generating social media descriptions never cost credits.
Do credits roll over?
It depends on your plan. Creator and Pro subscribers enjoy credit rollover — unused credits accumulate as long as your subscription is active.
Starter credits refresh each billing cycle and do not roll over. If you need more credits mid-cycle, you can buy credit packs anytime.
Credit pack purchases never expire on any plan — they remain in your balance until used.
What happens if a generation fails?
Credits are reserved when you start a generation and automatically refunded if anything goes wrong.
You only pay for successful completions — failed or cancelled jobs are fully refunded to your balance.
Can I control how many credits I spend?
Absolutely. TurboClip gives you full control over your cost-quality tradeoff.
You can choose your AI model (use faster, more affordable models for drafts, and premium models for final production), adjust scene count (fewer scenes means fewer image generation credits), and regenerate selectively (only regenerate the scenes that need it, not the entire project).
The estimated cost is always shown next to the generate button so you know exactly what you’re about to spend.
What are credit packs?
Credit packs are one-time top-ups you can buy anytime to add extra credits to your balance. They’re perfect when you need a quick boost mid-cycle or have a one-off project.
Packs are available in three sizes — Boost (400 credits), Bundle (1,200 credits), Studio (3,000 credits). An active subscription is required to purchase credit packs, and pack credits never expire.
Do I get a referral discount?
Yes! Every user gets a personal referral link. Share it with friends and unlock tiered subscription discounts.
Discounts are applied automatically at checkout — no coupon codes needed.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — cancel in a couple of clicks, no emails or hoops. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for, so nothing is cut off early.
There’s no lock-in and no cancellation fee. Resubscribe whenever you like and pick up right where you left off.
What’s the difference between the plans?
The core creation experience is on every plan — TurboClip Studio and TurboClip Canvas, per-scene regeneration, and unlimited exports. Plans differ mainly in monthly credits and which power features are unlocked.
Starter is for solo creators making image-based videos and slideshows and exporting freely. Creator — our most popular — turns on the full engine: AI video generation and AI video ads, content automations, TikTok auto-publishing, data sources, multi-brand teams, and API + MCP access. Pro and Agency add early access to new models, the highest-resolution video, and much larger credit balances for producing at scale.
What happens to my credits if I cancel or change plan?
You don’t lose your balance. If you cancel, your subscription credits simply pause — they stop being spendable while you’re off a plan and come back the moment you resubscribe. Any credit packs you bought separately are kept safe and never expire.
And while you’re subscribed on Creator and up, unused monthly credits roll over month-to-month — so a lighter month is never wasted.
