Welcome to TurboClip — AI-Powered Content Creation Platform(“TurboClip,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, the limited third parties we share it with, and the choices you have.
TurboClip is developed and operated by Turbo Labs, a business based in Queensland, Australia, focused on empowering creators, marketers, and educators worldwide to produce professional videos and image slideshows using AI. We serve users globally, and this policy applies wherever you access TurboClip. For the purposes of data protection law, Turbo Labs is the controller of your personal data. You can reach us any time at support@turboclip.ai.
Account Data — Email address, display name, profile avatar, and authentication credentials (including social login tokens).
Content & Project Data — Text prompts, scripts, generated narration audio, AI-generated images and video, slideshow slides, timeline configurations, caption data, and exported media files associated with your projects.
Uploaded Materials — Reference images, data source documents, and custom images you upload to guide AI generation or include in your projects.
Payment & Credit Data — Transaction records, credit balances, purchase history, subscription status, and billing details processed through Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers — these are handled entirely by Stripe.
Referral & Affiliate Data — Referral slug, referral relationships, affiliate commission records, and payout history.
Connected Social Accounts — If you connect a third-party account such as TikTok to publish or schedule content, we store the access and refresh tokens for that connection, your account identifier and public profile details, and the performance analytics (such as views, likes, comments, and shares) for content we publish on your behalf. You can disconnect at any time, which revokes our ongoing access.
Advertising & Analytics Data — When you visit our marketing site or complete key actions (such as registration, subscription, or purchase), we and our advertising partner Meta (Facebook) process cookie and pixel identifiers (for example _fbp and _fbc), your IP address, and your browser user agent, together with the fact that the action occurred. To improve measurement accuracy, our servers also send Meta a hashed (irreversibly scrambled) version of your email address and account ID — the plain values never leave our servers. We use this to measure and optimize our advertising. We do not send Meta your project content, prompts, scripts, or generated media. See Advertising, Cookies and Your Choices below for how to opt out.
Usage & Device Data — Browser type, device information, IP address, pages visited, and interaction patterns, used to improve platform stability and features and to measure our advertising. We do not collect precise GPS location.
Cookies / Local Storage — We use essential cookies for authentication tokens, session management, and referral attribution; a preference cookie that records your cookie-consent choice; and advertising and analytics cookies (the Meta Pixel) that measure our advertising. Advertising cookies are only set in line with your consent choice — see Advertising, Cookies and Your Choices below. You may disable cookies in your browser, but some platform functions may not work correctly.
We process your data on the basis of: (a) contract (to provide the service you request); (b) consent (for optional features and for advertising and analytics cookies, which you can withdraw at any time); (c) legitimate interests (fraud prevention, security, and product improvement); or (d) legal obligations (tax and accounting requirements).
We share your data only with the categories of third-party providers essential to operate TurboClip, and only as necessary to perform the features and services you use:
- Cloud Infrastructure & Storage — Hosting, database, authentication, and file storage services that store your account data, projects, and generated content.
- Payment Processing (Stripe) — Stripe handles credit card transactions, subscriptions, and billing. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
- AI Service Providers — Third-party artificial intelligence services used to generate scripts, narration, images, and video content. Your text prompts, scripts, and uploaded reference materials may be transmitted to these providers solely to produce the content you request.
- Analytics & Advertising (Meta Platforms) — We use the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API to measure and optimize our advertising. We share cookie/pixel identifiers, your IP address and user agent, a hashed version of your email and account ID, and conversion events (for example registration, subscription, or purchase). We do not share your project content, prompts, or generated media with Meta. Meta processes this data as described in its own privacy policy.
- Connected Social Platforms (TikTok)— When you connect TikTok and use publishing or scheduling, we transmit the slideshows, captions, and post settings you choose to publish to TikTok on your behalf, and we retrieve post analytics. Your use of TikTok is also governed by TikTok's own terms and privacy policy.
We select providers that maintain appropriate security and privacy standards. Our generative-AI providers process your prompts and uploaded materials to produce the content you request; under the API terms we operate on, they do not use your content to train their models, and we do not enable training on your content where that choice is ours to make. We cannot, however, guarantee the internal practices of every downstream model provider, and we encourage you to avoid uploading highly sensitive information. We do not sell your personal information for money.
We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure how our ads perform and to reach people who may be interested in TurboClip. You control this:
- Consent banner — If you are in the EU, UK, or EEA, we ask for your explicit opt-in before any advertising or analytics cookies are set; the pixel stays off until you accept. Elsewhere, we apply these cookies on the basis of implied consent and show you a notice with a one-click option to decline.
- Withdraw consent — You can change your choice at any time by declining through our cookie notice, clearing the consent cookie, or blocking cookies in your browser. Declining revokes the pixel.
- “Do Not Sell or Share” (US state privacy) — Sharing conversion data with Meta may be classified as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under laws such as the California CPRA. To opt out, decline our cookie notice or use a recognized browser opt-out preference signal where required. We do not knowingly “sell” personal information as that term is commonly defined.
- Meta ad settings — You can also adjust how Meta uses your data from within your Facebook/Instagram account settings.
We never use your project content, prompts, or generated media for advertising, and we never share it with advertising networks.
We store your data in encrypted databases with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Project content (videos, images, slideshows) is stored in cloud storage and retained for as long as your account is active. When you delete a project or your account, associated content is removed and backups are purged within 30 days. Access tokens for connected social accounts are retained until you disconnect the account or the token expires. Advertising identifiers are retained by Meta according to its own retention periods. Payment records are retained as required by tax and accounting law.
Despite our best efforts, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we continuously review and improve our safeguards.
You have the right to request deletion of your data at any time. We provide the following methods:
Delete Individual Projects
You can delete any project (including all associated videos, images, slideshows, scripts, narration, and timeline data) directly from your project dashboard. Deleted project data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
Delete Your Entire Account
You can request full account deletion, which permanently removes your account and all associated data — including all projects, generated content, uploaded materials, credit history, connected-account tokens, and referral data. To delete your account, email support@turboclip.ai with the subject “Account Deletion Request — TurboClip” from the email address associated with your account.
What Happens When You Delete
- All projects, generated content (videos, images, slideshows), scripts, narration audio, and uploaded materials are permanently deleted.
- Your account profile, authentication data, and preferences are removed.
- Connected social-account tokens are revoked and removed (this does not delete content already published to those platforms).
- Credit balances are forfeited and transaction history is deleted (except where retention is required by law for tax/accounting purposes).
- Referral and affiliate records associated with your account are removed.
- Backups containing your data are purged within 30 days of deletion.
We will confirm deletion of your data via email. If you have an active subscription, we recommend cancelling it before requesting account deletion to avoid further charges.
- Access and export your data.
- Correct inaccuracies in your account information.
- Delete individual projects or your entire account (see Section 9 above).
- Object to certain processing, opt out of advertising sharing, or withdraw consent.
- Request data portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe we have handled your data improperly.
To exercise any rights you cannot perform directly in TurboClip, email us at support@turboclip.ai.
TurboClipis a paid service not directed to children under 16 (or the higher minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We operate globally and may transfer your data to third-party service providers in locations around the world — including the United States — for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Where data protection laws in those locations may differ from your own, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards to protect your data.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of substantial changes via email or in-platform notice. Continued use of TurboClip after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
